New Zealand Post Book Awards

Join the libraries in celebrating the 13th annual New Zealand Post book awards.
From 11-17 May, Auckland City Libraries are hosting special storytime events with readings from the finalist picture books.
On Monday 11 May, Brian Lovelock - illustrator of finalist picture book Roadworks, will run a series of workshops throughout the day at Panmure, Grey Lynn and Otahuhu library.

Design a bookplate competition
1 May - 18 May 2009
Get creative and design a bookplate based on one of the New Zealand Post Book Awards finalists. Winners will receive a selection of the finalist books.
Pick-up an entry form from your local Auckland City Library.
Open to children aged 5-18 years.
