Nation Dates launched at Unity Books, Wellington

Now the waiting is over. After much anticipation, Nation Dates was launched last night (Tuesday 6th September) at Unity Books in Wellington, photos below.
Historian Dame Claudia Orange, who spoke at the book launch, was full of praise for the book. She commented that the book ‘will become a key text for … anyone with an interest in this country’s past and future.’ Sir Mason Durie and Professor Philip Joseph have also endorsed the book, indicating it is well worth a thumb through.

The book currently has 440 dates organised into 65 threads. However, the authors are inviting the public to discuss further dates of significance that could be included in the next edition. Be part of the discussion at nationdates.org.nz
