2012 NATIONAL FLASH FICTION DAY -- Only one week to submit your stories!

The inaugural National Flash Fiction Day competition is open until midnight, next Friday, 1 June 2012.

Writers may enter up to 3 stories of 300 words each, excluding the title. The competition will be judged anonymously by Graeme Lay, Tina Shaw and Stephen Stratford.

National Flash Fiction Day hopes to recognise established authors as well as newcomers to the genre. We welcome all submissions to the inaugural competition.

Send your submissions electronically: nationalflash@gmail.com
Details about the competition can be found on the NFFD website.

Mark your calendars for 22 June. The main NFFD prize-giving event will happen in Auckland and other events are also occurring around the country (details here). Get in touch with the NFFD organisers to find out about events in your area, or to tell us about something you’d like to organise and we’ll help spread the word.
