  • Raymond Chandler's first novel and the debut of the famed private eye Philip Marlow. Estimate $10,000/15,000. 
  • First Edition of perhaps the greatest work of literature of the 20th century. James Joyce's Ulysses. One of 750 copies, this copy beautifully bound. Estimate: $10,000/15,000.
  • Unrevised proof copy of John Steinbeck's masterpiece. The Grapes of Wrath. One of only a few copies extant. Estimate: $8,000/12,000. 
  • Long letter from Jack London to his future bride, Charmian Kittredge, discussing their burgeoning relationship. One of several Jack London letters in this sale. Estimate: $3,000/5,000. 
  • Marc Chagall's Drawings for the Bible, with 24 original lithograph plates. The American edition of Verve 33/34. Estimate: $3,000/5000. 
  • First Edition Thomas Malthus's Principles of Political Economy. A landmark work on the subject. Estimate: $2,000/3,000. 
  • Signed and limited edition of William Faulkner's Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Reivers. One of several Faulkner signed, limited editions in this auction. Estimate: $2,000/3,000. 
  • Screen-printed sheet of Andy Warhol's Cow wallpaper with the cow in pink. Produced for the MOMA exhibit Andy Warhol: A Retrospective. One of two versions included in this auction. Estimate: $2,000/3,000. 
  • First edition of the posthumously published, Pulitzer prize winning novel by John Kennedy Toole, A Confederacy of Dunces. A fine copy. Estimate $1,000/1,500.
