AppNewser has more: “The interactive eBooks, which were created using iBooks Author, bring Shakespeare’s plays to live with legendary performances that are embedded alongside the text. Tracks from actors including: Kenneth Branagh, Orson Welles, and Sir Laurence Olivier are among them. The eBook also includes embedded translations of terms into modern day words.”
Othello alone has more than 1,400 embedded terms.
The eBooks also have scene setting audio introductions by Sir Derek Jacobi, recordings of F. Scott Fitzgerald reading, and acting advice from Andrew Wade, a former voice coach to the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Interactive editions of Othello, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet are currently available in the iBookstore, and more adaptations will follow.
